What you can do if and when you get injured?

Immediate treatment for your acute injury

RICE

stands for the following:

Rest the injury then slowly resume back to your normal regime.

Ice packs or a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a towel should be applied to your injured area to reduce swelling and bruising. You should not place the ice direct contact with your skin as you get “ice burn”. You should use a cloth to wrap up the ice and use it on your injured area.

Compress the injured area by bandaging it to support the injured area and help to reduce the swelling

Elevate the injury – rest the injured body part above the level of your heart and keep it supported.

Further treatment may be necessary for severe injury.
